Biographies

David Hunter, FIA
David has over 15 years experience providing institutional investment consulting, fund manager research, due diligence and ratings services. He qualified as an actuary during his 10 years with Mercer and after a period running an IT business he became Director, Global Research Unit for Aon Consulting, responsible for ALM in the UK and worldwide manager research. David also advised S&P’s Pensions Unit on their institutional Asset Manager Assessment Service and contributed to the roll out of their Sponsor Covenant Assessment Service. He currently sits on the advisory council of AIMSE International and was a founding member of the Pension Risk Transfer Advisory Council.

Ewan Stradling
Prior to founding BMS Finance, a boutique investment management company, Ewan worked with a broad range of companies, most recently as Group CFO for the Agilisys Group of companies. He was responsible for the group’s commercial, legal and finance functions. His recent experience includes fundraisings for netdecisions, Fluency Voice Technology, Steel Trace and The First Resort, as well as numerous corporate transactions.

Prior to joining the netdecisions group, Ewan worked for Investec Henderson Crosthwaite in the corporate finance department. He specialised in M&A within the small and mid-cap TMT sector.
