Biographies

David Hunter, FIA
David has over 15 years experience providing institutional investment consulting, fund manager research, due diligence and ratings services. He qualified as an actuary during his 10 years with Mercer and after a period running an IT business he became Director, Global Research Unit for Aon Consulting, responsible for ALM in the UK and worldwide manager research. David also advised S&P’s Pensions Unit on their institutional Asset Manager Assessment Service and contributed to the roll out of their Sponsor Covenant Assessment Service. He currently sits on the advisory council of AIMSE International and is a member of the Pension Risk Transfer Advisory Council.

Rufus Warner
Rufus has spent over 25 years in the City, most of it with fund management companies. He has worked as an analyst, a fund manager, a business developer and as a CEO. The key companies for whom he has worked are: Fidelity, Hoare Govett, Morgan Grenfell Asset Management and Societe Generale Asset Management. In his most recent role as CEO of Close Investments, the funds arm of Close Brothers Group, he developed and oversaw the fund of hedge funds, institutional multi‐manager and a number of other in‐house and outsourced fund management businesses.
